Free Subaru logo. Subaru is the Japanese name for the star cluster which inspired the Subaru logo. The logo hints at the five companies that formed Fuji Heavy Industries. FHI launched in 1917 as The Aircraft Research Laboratory. It was the most important airplane maker in Japan during WW II.
